James has returned to Novak and Middleton Architects following an interlude in Sydney where he gained invaluable architectural experience across a range of project types. His project experience in a leadership role in Australia involved large scale residential master-planning, design and documentation of large scale residential and tourism developments, documentation and construction supervision of a large retail development and design of a large scale national defence headquarters.
On return to Novakand Middleton James aims to provide best practice solutions to projects through relevant research and benchmarking along with collaboration with the appropriate consultants. A key focus is in the area of environmental sustainability and the desire to create cohesive habitats that provide a high quality of life for their occupants within the wider surroundings. James brings experience that complements the key attributes of the Novak and Middleton team as they strive to deliver their clients the very best results.
