Steve Greene, Associate
BSc, NZCD Arch, MArch (Prof)
Steve believes that in successful architecture the concept relates to the site; its aspect, history, climate, and to our clients program and aspirations. Through good design this is tested, refined and developed. Materials, spaces and form are chosen for weathering, beauty, economy and to promote the concept. Details are produced to keep the wind and rain out, to express the materials and articulate the concept. Successful architecture, like construction, is crafted by people with a drive for quality, a knowledge of materials and processes
Steve enjoys getting things built. He particularly enjoys the process of taking a project from concept through construction to completion and all the steps in between. Building can be a complicated process involving many people and Steve aims to keep everyone involved working toward the same goal, while driving a project to a result that is as beautiful as it is functional.
Steve came to Novak and Middleton in 2006 bringing with him a wealth of experience from within NZ and abroad.
