The Wellington Health Centre is designed as a high-quality Medical facility that befits both the commercial and residential character of Adelaide Rd providing a high quality, contemporary Wellington wide Health Centre which services the community. The expressed steel structure and glass frontage address the street and light floods through both the clear and opalescent glass to create bright interior spaces. The more private spaces with opaque soft milky white glass allow shadows and movement to be picked up to activate the streetscape, whilst also maintaining privacy for the patients. Come evening time the building will glow like a lantern.
