Seatoun Heights House

Situated on the hills of Wellington’s eastern suburbs and looking west over Miramar, the house blends perfectly into the hillside. The interior is a series of informal spaces unified with a single timber clad ceiling plane with living areas designed to maximise sunlight and celebrate the views out over the aiport and south towards the ever changing views of Cook Strait. The bedrooms in contrast create a sense of shelter and respite. Timber features are used throughout the house producing a sense of warmth and comfort both internally and externally.
